Electronics ban on UK flights
22 Mar 2017
In view of the British decision prohibiting passengers traveling to the UK from carrying any electronic device on board the flight cabins, excluding devices which dimensions don’t exceed 16 cm in length, 9.3 cm in width or 1.5 cm in depth, i.e. approximately the size of a cell phone/smart phone, the company kindly informs its passengers departing to London that they must abide by this measure effective from Saturday 25 March 2017, noting that they will be able to transport the mentioned devices into hold luggage.
MEA kindly requests its passengers to arrive at the airport 3 hours prior to scheduled departure time of their flight to the UK due to the inspection procedures that they will undergo and to prevent delay in their travel.
MEA reaffirms that no electronic devices will be allowed in the passengers cabin on board of the plane in no case, and kindly asks the adherence to these guidelines to ensure its passengers comfort.
