Please find below amended version of Arabian Air Pass now named TRANSARABIA.
The same principle applies for TRANSARABIA agreement: it is to allow sales of multiple sectors on multiple carriers, on the base of pricing by sector: each sector is quoted according to its length in Ticketed Point Miles ( TPM ) and the fare is the sum of all sectors fares.
For example, an itinerary Beirut-Cairo-Bahrain-Amman-Kuwait economy class based on the Transarabia sector fares table shall be quoted as following :
- BEY/CAI on ME: TPM 351 miles, sector fare 110 USD
- CAI/BAH on MS: TPM 1200 miles, sector fare 220 USD
- BAH.AMM on RJ: TPM 961 miles, sector fare 200 USD
- AMM/KWI on KU: TPM 734 miles, sector fare 200 USD
Transarabia total fare: 730 USD
The resulting Transarabia fare offered to passengers is extremely convenient, since otherwise, the above itinerary could be only quoted at IATA full normal economy class fare at USD 1236.
