I just wanted to share with you my sincere gratitude for flying with MEA on Saturday Jan 6, 2007, flight # 312 from Beirut to Amman. I forgot the name of the pilot, but I can assure that this is maybe my 1000th time on a plane, and never experienced such a smooth fight, from take off to landing. Especially landing. To whom it may concern at MEA Airlines.
I am writing this letter to express my feelings about the great outstanding service me and my husband have received from your airline employees. We have flown lots of miles and lots of flights on different airlines in the last several years. We as frequent traveler, both in the US and internationally, we can attest to the outstanding service in MEA Airlines. On our roundtrip flight from London to Beirut the service was personal and impeccable - far better than any US or European airlines that we have experienced when flying internationally numerous times this year. The food and beverage service was superb and included a great variety. The seats reclined much farther than most airlines and the audio/video options, as well as equipment was also outstanding. The pillow and blankets were far superior to most airlines, the aircraft was clean and well appointed and the staff was extremely friendly to everyone.
I would recommend MEA Airlines to anyone.

Dear Sirs,
I would like to take this opportunity to tell you about the exemplary service I received from the MEA staff on my trip from Amman to Beirut last week.
Your airline first impressed me with its friendly flight attendants and excellent food, but I had no idea that the level of customer service would be as outstanding as it was until I had the unfortunate experience of losing my ticket.
I realized that my ticket from Beirut to Rome was missing on the morning of my flight from Amman to Beirut. Unfortunately, I was in Wadi Rum at the time and had to hurry back to Amman to catch my 5PM flight, which did not leave much time to obtain a replacement ticket. As soon as I arrived in Amman, I went directly to the MEA office and explained my predicament. The staff there was very helpful; they immediately contacted the ticket issuer in Rome and requested permission to print a new ticket. Afterwards they contacted Beirut and arranged for me to pick up my replacement ticket at the airport. They even called me at the ticketing counter in Amman to give me a last minute update about the status of my replacement ticket. All this on the first day of Ramadan at 4PM!
Thanks to their quick work, I was able to catch my flight to Beirut. The Beirut staff also impressed me with their excellent customer service. I arrived in Beirut at 8 in the evening and my flight to Rome was not until 6 in the morning. I went to the transfer desk to ask if they could recommend a hotel close by for me to stay in. To my delight, they not only gave me a voucher for a hotel room and dinner, but provided me with a shuttle service to and from the hotel- all at no cost to me.
In the morning, I was picked up and returned to the airport and was given my replacement ticket to Rome.
I truly felt that I received first class service while traveling with MEA this fall and will recommend MEA to anyone I know that is flying to or within the Middle East.

I was pleasantly surprised as a first time visitor to the country. I personally think Lebanon is back on the Leisure destination map for those looking for a more cultured or differentiated experience.
The national carrier MEA, Beirut Airport, the Down Town area as well as the expanding luxury 4 and 5 star hotel market instills a cosmopolitan and vibrant feel to the destination. The warmth, friendliness of the local community and the overall general party atmosphere makes Beirut a new and exciting destination within the Middle East region.
Despite the recent set backs Lebanon appears to have the drive and determination to regain its position as a leading destination within the Middle East.
Bravo. Lebanon gets my vote of confidence!!

I came back from Beirut to Warsaw few days ago on MEA via Frankfurt. Usually the connection flights are difficult, and due to some delay from Warsaw to Frankfurt on LOT on my way to Beirut, I thought I will never catch my flight, but thanks to MEA staff I found two men waiting for me and my family at the stairs of the plane to drive me in a bus direct to the MEA plane gate.
I would like to thank MEA administrative and Mrs. Blaire and every person did the arrangements without any request from me to facilitate this connection.
I am sure that with such a help, our national airlines will be a leading company in the near future, not only in the sky but also on the land.

I would like to extend my congratulations to all the staff at MEA for making the airline a first class world carrier. Being a regular traveler in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East and belonging to few airline mileage schemes including Cedar Miles, I am impressed with the cabins of the new aircrafts of MEA since 2003, the service at the BEY airport and on the flight, the punctuality of flights and finally the professional level of the Beirut Call Center and the Cedar Miles Staff.
I have recently applied for a ticket using Cedar Miles. My application was dealt promptly and I was kept informed by email. When claiming missing miles in the past, my enquiry was dealt with very quickly and again I was informed by email of the flight credited.
Keep it up MEA and all the success for the future.
